Top Quality Bikes
Deserve Top Quality Service
We're bike geeks. You know, the kind of folks that dedicate a section of their brain to their next dreamy custom build. The kind of folks that start grinding their teeth if forced to look at crooked handlebars for more than a minute. The point is, we're obsessive about bicycles, and this influences the quality of our ebike builds and our maintenance procedures. We want our customers' bikes to be as close to perfect as possible. Our service department is staffed with Bosch and Shimano Certified Ebike Mechanics that will keep your ebike perfectly maintained for years to come. We service Riese & Müller, Moustache, Benno, Gazelle, and Larry vs Harry ebikes.
Due to a shortage of staff and available repair parts, we are only offering service for bikes purchased at Dandelion
with the exception of Riese & Müller for which we offer service regardless of origin
$135 - $235 depending on make and model
We recommend a comprehensive service every 1250 miles or annually. It includes:
- Cleaning and inspection of frame, fork, and wheels
- Cleaning, lubrication, and tuning of suspension
- Hub bearing adjustment, wheel truing, and tire inspection
- Cleaning and lubrication of drivetrain components
- Derailleur hanger alignment and adjustment of mechanical shifting
- Adjustment of brakes and bedding of new pads & rotors
- Adjustment of headset(s)
- Torque check on all bolts
- Firmware update
- Two test rides by experienced mechanics to ensure service work meets our performance and safety standards
There are additional labor costs for installation of parts and accessories, brake bleeds, suspension service, and gear oil changes. When combined with a comprehensive service appointment, services like chain and brake-pad replacement are discounted. We'll follow-up with a rough quote for labor after you schedule an appointment. After inspecting the bike, we will provide you with a detailed quote.
À La Carte Service
$90 - $135 per hour
We offer à la carte service for jobs like chain replacement, brake pad replacement, wheel truing, etc. After you schedule an appointment, we'll get back to you with a quote. Labor is priced at $90/hr for bikes purchased at Dandelion and $135/hr for bikes purchased elsewhere. We are not equipped to work on bikes with hub motors, retrofit mid-drive electric motors, or hydraulic rim brakes.

Your Typical Bike Shop
We don't just sell and maintain ebikes. We want to share our knowledge with you, and get out there on a few rides together. Here's a snapshot of what's coming soon to our new website.
We love riding with a group of friends, family, and customers. We'll be hosting casual weekly rides leaving from the shop, as well as less frequent adventure rides into the Cascade foothills.
We'll be sharing our technical knowledge so that you can have a better understanding of your ebike and a better experience riding it. We'll teach you how to set it up, how to take care of it, and the issues to look out for.
We've logged thousands of miles riding bikes in Washington. Explore the state with us! We'll share our favorite routes for casual day rides and multiple day adventures.
