2023 Shop Ride #2: Seattle-Edmonds Loop

March 18th, 4pm start at The Ugly Mug

A two-lane street with a sign next to it that says "Entering the town of Woodway."

Join us this Saturday for our 2nd shop ride of the year. It’s going to be scenic. It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be 60 degrees with a 7:19pm sunset! But best of all, it will teach you an easy and scenic way to get to Edmonds on a bike. This by itself is cool, but looking at the larger picture: a comfortable route to Edmonds gives you the potential to ride TO AND ONTO the Kingston ferry. There is so much good riding out of Kingston! But that’s for a later post.

A two-lane street with a few of houses and the Puget Sound. Taken in the Innis Arden neighborhood.

The official start of this ride will be The Ugly Mug, near the corner of 43rd and University in the U District. We’ll leave at 4pm. All ebikes are welcome. Riders will be required to sign a waiver. Bikes will receive a safety inspection. This is a 32 mile round trip, and I expect we’ll take 2.5 to 3 hours to complete it. We’ll finish at Fritz Hedges Waterway Park.

Please use the form below to sign up. I will be leaving from Dandelion at 3:15pm. You are welcome to join me on the trip to the U-District.
